We have
been living close to this area but didn’t get the chance to explore it .Other day
Aayan insisted to go on a train slide and sand play, we didn't want to go too far. I was looking for a place nearby and that's how we got to
know about this lovely and quite accessible place.
Most
striking feature of this playground is the Tilting
Train or Choo Choo Train. Aayan said, " This train is like Thomas the diesel engine."
A public park and a playground in the centre of the city. We found this place very good for small picnic or get together as parents can sit on the nearby benches or grass and kids can enjoy.
It is a sand based playground and entire play area is on sand only.
Train has multiple entry points to make it more fascinating for kids , slides, stairs.
This beautiful wooden train has got an engine with three carriages. Kids can actually climb abroad and move around in the carriages. There
is one old style bell in the train to give the traditional touch to it. Kids
usually make it a starting point of their play to touch the bell and win.
With
kids below 4 years you need to accompany them as inside the train are some open
space though covered with rope.
Kids
love to sit inside the train and play hide and seek. All of them were pretending sitting inside the
moving train.
Lot of activities which kids loves to explore here.
Other parts of the playground included the
slides, bouncing cars & horse, & the swings
Kids can simply enjoy sand play .
Merry-go -round
This is
at one side of the ground for kids to enjoy merry-go-round ride , more kids
more fun and best part is their screams
and laughter at the same time.
Maze Around
Just
next to the train is this small maze for kids to enjoy and keep them busy
forming their own train inside it as well.
The park has got a beautiful bridge over the
pond with small turtles and trust me kids can spend hours on this bridge or
next to this pond.
Love this corner
space to sit and relax with the trees and cool breeze surrounding you.
